Learn MoreMy mother was treated by Dr. Marinelli for a colonoscopy and related GI issues. She has had a long history of gastritis and was really challenged to keep down the materials before the procedure. Dr. Marinelli took the time to develop a unique protocol to get her ready over multiple weeks so that she could actually do the procedure. It all went well and Dr. Marinelli took extra time to ensure she was in good shape - both mentally and physically. He went above and beyond to ensure her good health.
Yesterday I went to Northeast Endoscopy Center for a screening colonoscopy. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I was being walked to my ride, I felt like I was getting the upmost care. While in pre-op I was greeted by almost every nurse working. They all welcomed to me to "the club", and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I then met Dr. Reichheld who couldn't be more personable and pleasant. The colonoscopy itself went great. I slept like a baby during the procedure and woke up to my nurse asking what I'd like to drink while I recover in post-op. I didn't come across anyone that wasn't pleasant. I highly recommend Northeast Endoscopy Center.
I was very disappointed with this facility. The day I walked in they gave me a piece of paper with patient responsibilities of $127.00. Now 30 days later I get bills which adds up to $870.75. This was so unfair because if I knew that all these billed will be billed I would have never gone to this facility. They have facility charge, Dr.'s charge, pathology charge. They broke all these charges. If a patient didn't have money to pay these bills that would affect his credit and all. I feel that they should let Patient know ahead of time. also I feel like it was a money making business as they walk you in and kick you out and rushing to do things so fast.
This place is awful!! My Mom had a colonoscopy scheduled for today and she is diabetic. And when we went in for the procedure today, they proceeded to put an IV into Chrome medical history and they had record of her old medical history and proceeded to put the IV in and we saw The Anesthesiologist in The Anesthesiologist, asked about her medical history scene had the record of her history in front of him. The only thing that changed was that That she was on Monjo. The Anesthesiologist began to tell me what Mandara was, I knew what Mira was because I knew my mother was on it for the past year and that she has lost over 80 pounds. He said that was a medication that let the food sit in your stomach for days and it made you fall. So when you begin to eat again, you wouldn’t be as hungry as a normal person. So he said my mother wasn’t a good candidate to have that procedure done there because she had been on Mongo. I told my mother that and she said that she would be fine with the procedure , my mother went through all the prep and not eating for a day and a half and she’s diabetic. She checked her sugar on the day of their procedure and it was 45 she could not drink orange juice do to the doctors orders that was written on the sheet that she could not eat or drink the day of the procedure or take her insulin. My mother dropped blood sugar dropped to the 45 and she couldn’t do anything about it due to the procedure, they need to change their procedure and doctors orders due to people who have diabetes. Because my mother was affected by her, dropping her blood sugar and not having anything to take care of her diabetes. I would not recommend these people to anybody, especially somebody who is diabetic

I went in today and was honestly blown away by how efficient and KIND they were…like everyone I encountered….. Let’s be honest we are crawling in there after 24 hours of PREP hell and they give you a warm blanket. Completly impressed. It was timely and I was in and out. HIGHLY recommend!!!
